Visual Development - Materials

I made these for my graduation short film - A Furry Escape. 
In the early stages we were unsure how far we would like to push the style of our film, how stylised it should be and how hand painted we wanted our assets to look. With these drawings I explored simplifications and stylisations aswell as using brushwork to create an illustion of details. Working in 2D to convey my ideas allowed for a quicker process and looser results.
